Answer: Anyone can use the website and view all the koi. If you want to bid on a koi, you need an account. An account is quickly and easily created and only takes 30 seconds of your time. Then you can bid on the koi you would like to have swimming in your pond.
In order to be able to answer the question above, we will make a distinction between 2 situations.
The koi is still with us
We do our best to keep your koi healthy as long as it stays with us. Daily we study all koi on strange behavior. Once abnormal behavior is displayed we intervene and start an appropriate treatment.
Weekly we preventively make smears of all pools and check the koi for parasites. If the koi has parasites we start an appropriate treatment and the koi may not leave the store.
If the koi has parasites we start a treatment.
If your koi unexpectedly dies at our place, you will receive 100% of the purchase price back. Please note that koi can change from the moment we filmed them, this can be both negative and positive. This is at your own risk. We assume that the new home of the koi meets all requirements for good and responsible keeping and care of koi. Yet transporting koi is a risk. The koi is stressed, the water composition changes and the new koi enters a different bacterial environment. Everyone has their own care habits. We always recommend using a quarantine system in which you care for new koi for a period of at least 2 weeks before the koi are transferred to your pond. This allows the koi to settle down again after transportation and you can easily recognize and respond to any abnormal behavior. We are happy to help.
